Effect Martial Arts Foundation to host spring gala fundraising event

The Impact Martial Arts Foundation will host a spring gala charity event from 7:30 p.m. to midnight April 23 at Boylston Schul-Verein German-American Club, 8 County St., Walpole, to assist raise funds for D.J. Norton III, a 15-year-old black belt teacher at Impact Martial Arts.

Norton is recuperating from severe myeloid leukemia, a cancer of the blood. Eight months back, he played basketball routinely, taught martial arts after school and on Saturdays and was preparing to play football in his freshman year of high school. However, in August 2015, his life changed.

Police officers Investigating MMA Fighter Caught on Video Battering a Teen

A Mixed Martial Arts fighter called Tony Cojocaru is being investigated in New Jersey following the release of a video where he supposedly punches, slaps, and kicks a young boy. The harsh video has actually gone viral and has more than 2 million views this week, exposing Cojocaru as a violent beast.

At the end of the video, Cojocaru looks in the video camera, as if speaking to the individual behind the electronic camera, and states, "I told you, any one of you f *** ers.
